Dr. Ken Buckle Kenneth Buckle, Psy.D. is the Executive Director of Gratia Plena – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides mental and spiritual health and recovery services to the Houston area Catholic community. He is Region X coordinator for the Catholic Psychotherapy Association and coordinator for the Houston Community of Catholic Psychotherapists. Dr. Ken is a native Houstonian, and a licensed psychologist in Texas. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, his master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois, and his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. He served on the faculty of the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, assigned to the Harris County Psychiatric Center. He also worked for many years with MHMRA of Harris County (now called The Harris Center). He also worked for a healthcare technology company providing project management and consulting services to large nonprofit mental health agencies across the United States. He is married 39 years with four adult children and six grandchildren. He and his wife are parishioners at St. Laurence Catholic Church in Sugar Land.
